Veterans and Dissertations

November 11th is Veterans Day. Here are 50 reasons why you should go out and thank a veteran today…

Freedom isn’t free. Throughout the years veterans have paid the price to allow you to do so many things you take for granted everyday. Sometimes that price was their service; sometimes it was their lives.

We can never repay that debt. But, at the very least, you can spend a little of your time today thinking of all of the things you are free to do because our veterans paid the price. Be grateful for these privileges.

And, thank a veteran!

I want to extend my own gratitude to our veterans for the freedoms I enjoy everyday.

I also want to praise our students who are veterans.

I know that I never have to worry about one of our veteran students completing the tasks we set for them. I never have to worry about one of our veteran students complaining about the inequities of the dissertation process.

I enjoy working with you.

And, I am proud to be able to contribute in some small way to your success in earning your doctoral degree.

If you need extra support and guidance to make it to graduation, I may be able to help. If you'd like to find out whether you qualify for the support we offer throughout the dissertation process, then...
